works right out of the box

Seagate 80GB IDE HDD
LG 20x DVDRW
built-in audio & network & display
do driver issues
plays music well
I can't play DVD with VLC or TOTEM at all, they simply drop dead when trying to open the disc :(
No error message was shown.
